A new task force will make recommendations about where affordable housing should be built in the Meadowlands district's 14 towns, officials said Monday. The announcement comes days after Governor Corzine signed a bill requiring every town in New Jersey, along with regional authorities such as the Meadowlands Commission, to identify affordable housing opportunities in areas near employment and public transportation.
